Another great weekend for Manic!

What a Manic weekend!

On Saturday, Manic Stage Productions had several different event bookings and the team juggled rehearsals, shows and shots. Everyone worked so hard and the whole team had so much fun!

The weekend started at The Kings Theatre where Nicole lead a Choreography Master class to 50 enthusiastic teenagers. She taught them 5 different techniques to help them choreograph with confidence. Nicole has many years of experience as a choreographer, both here and in the states so she was the perfect choice to lead this 2 hour session.

Matt and 7 of the Manic team headed off to Worthing to work with Fontwell Park Racecourse and entertain the crowds in the town centre whilst promoting their forthcoming Abba Race Night. The team took to the street singing and dancing to our Abba medley and even the rain couldn't stop the girls and shoppers having fun!

Everyone then headed to their evening bookings. One of the Manic teams performed alongside Miss G* at the Sailors Home Club for the Lord Mayors Appeal and a room full of over 100 guests. The Sound of Music (with a twist) night was full of laughter as Miss G* told the sordid tale of The Convent night club with our fantastic cabaret girls.

Over the other side of the city 2 of the team greeted guests at a Vegas themed night. Dressed in white Vegas showgirl feathers, the gorgeous girls handed out shots to get the party started. Storm Shephard, who organised the event said "The girls were amazing! It definitely helped to make a memorable night and the guests loved them."

I think we can safely say the weekend was a huge success and it doesn't stop there!

Tonight we step on the stage again, this time at The Kings Theatre for the Lord Mayors Gala. Our beautiful Manic girls will end the evening's show with a Dream Girls finalle that we are sure will dazzle and delight the audience and of course the Mayor of Portsmouth.
