FUN FILLED EASTER ACTIVITIES 

This Easter holiday Manic Stage Productions will again be at Portsmouth Guildhall hosting another of our ever successful dance workshops. 

We are excited to announce two brand new themes to entice and excite your little ones. 

We still have places available for both days. 

Here's a little bit of information about both workshops and what they have on offer.

Thursday 9th April: Clowning Around - Circus Skills Dance Day!

During the day your children will get to take part in so many activities and learn lots of new skills including: Plate Spinning, Juggling, Balancing Acts, Clown Dancing and Arts & Crafts. 

Our Second Workshop is,

Friday 10th April: Movie Madness Dance Day!

Join us to take part in Singing, Dancing, Creative Catwalk, Acting and Arts and Crafts. Your little stars will get to act as if they are in their own movie and perform to some of the greatest hits from movie musicals including Annie, Grease and The Lego Movie. 

Both workshops will have a showtime performance for parents and family when they return at the end. You will love seeing your children in action showcasing what they have been up to during the day. 

Each workshop takes place at Portsmouth Guildhall and runs from 10am-3pm with parents invited back at 2:30pm.

February's Celebrated Client

LOVE IS IN THE AIR!!.. 

The team were hard at work this valentines weekend and romance was definitely in the air as we took to the Portsmouth Guildhall stage to entertain the bride and grooms to be at the first wedding fayre of the year. 

As we do at each PMN Wedding Fayre, Manic produced the creative catwalk with beautiful stunning choreography and showcased gorgeous dresses from two bridal boutiques in the local area. 

 With a selection of romantic tracks our models took to the catwalk  with a packed out crowd of excited brides getting ideas and looking  to make their big day one to remember with that perfect dress.

Our models were lucky enough to have their hair and make up done by the professional stylists and artists at Diamond Quay Hair and Beauty Lounge. Their looks complimented the dresses exquisitely and allowed our models to flaunt their elegant looks throughout the performance. 

We also had lots of hair accessories and jewellery to model from different companies to add to our production and they really topped off our overall looks and gave the audience a whole host of things to consider when getting inspiration for their own weddings.  

We always love creating the catwalk show for PMN and have worked closely with Paul now for the past few years. 

As part of our 10th year in business birthday celebrations we are presenting one of close clients each month with a bottle of champagne to show our appreciation and thanks for the support and work relationship in the build up to our tenth year! 

This February Paul and Karen, (Organisers of PMN Wedding Fayres) were our chosen recipients and posed on the catwalk for a celebratory photo with the models and team on stage. 

We will be at a different venue on Sunday again for PMN. If you fancy coming along to see what Old Thorns Manor, Liphook has to offer then you will be able to see a wide variety of companies providing all the services you could possibly need for your special day and there will be two catwalk shows produced by our team for your viewing pleasure.

Fun Filled Half Terms Are Back

February Half Term Workshops!

Are you looking for some fun, full day activities for your children to enjoy this February Half Term? 

One again Manic Stage Productions are hosting our ever popular half term dance days. 

With Dancing, Singing, Arts & Crafts, Games & Performance Showtime, your little ones will have so much to enjoy throughout the session and so much to show you at the end of the day. 

Each activity day will be held at Portsmouth Guildhall in their secure Harlequin Room.  

This half term we have two fantastic themes to choose from...... 

Monday 16th - We Love Boybands!

Tuesday 17th - Magical Fairytale 'Once Upon A Time'

Each dance day runs from 10am until 3pm.

POP PARTY VIDEO!!

POP PARTY VIDEO!!! 

We have a new exciting project that we are launching. 

Our new children's dance parties will be able to offer an added extra of a 'POP VIDEO PARTY' option. 

This will involve a videographer coming to the party and shooting throughout from all different angles. All of the party games, cake, singing, dancing, and show performance will all be filmed and then you will have a dvd produced, edited and cut at the end which will be about 20 mins long and feature all aspects of the party. 

On Wednesday 20th August at Portsmouth Guildhall we are going to be filming a promotional video for this to launch the new optional extra and are looking for a group of children that would like to be involved. If your child is between 6-10yrs and has some dance experience and can wear a nice bright outfit and is happy to perform in front of the cameras then we would love to have them on board. 

Obviously the taking part in this would mean you agree to the consent for us to use your child in the filming and promotion of the video. Limited places available so get in touch!!

LADIES IN RED!!

RED SHOWGIRLS EVERYWHERE!

Manic have had such a busy week this week with Showgirlz, performers and brand ambassadors all over the South Coast. 

After showcasing our new red showgirl costumes at Tiger Tiger a couple of weeks ago they have been in high demand ever since. 

Firstly 2 of our girlz headed to Southampton to the beautiful Grand Harbour Hotel to meet and greet the excited year 11 students of Wildern School as they arrived in style to attend their school prom.

 From limos to fire engines, sports cars to ambulances and even a tractor towing a trailor full of year 11 boys the students really did arrive in a variety or eye catching ways and the many friends and families waiting for them to arrive watched on to see just what was pulling up next. 

With an amazing vegas themed prom our showgirls lined the red carpet to welcome the student alongside the 10 piece band playing vegas hits as the super glam crowd entered. 

The students were so excited and stunned by the interior of the event and our showgirlz really enhanced the theme and added some glamour and glitz to the overall look. 

With our feathers and sequines shining we were a popular photo opportunity for the students and we were so glad to be a part of their memorable evening posing next to the 'Welcome To Vegas' sign at the Grand Harbour entrance. 

We joined them on the dance floor as they all flocked in to take their seats at the vegas named tables and we left them to it to enjoy their wonderful evening and surprises that were in store for them that night as their prom continued. 

The following night our showgirlz were hosting at The Gregg School in Southampton to meet and greet guests at a charity function for Countess Mountbatten Charity. 

The guest were pleasantly suprised to see our girlz on arrival with headdresses, smiles and head to toe feathers! We were as always a big attraction to the guests and the perfect photo opportunity for all involved. 

We loved being a part of this event and it was again a huge success. 

Lastly we had a sky high showgirl up on her stilts at Portsmouth Guildhall for a high profile event hosted by The News. 

Welcoming guests into the building again with our gorgeous red showgirl costume it really did add that little something extra special to the already super glamorous night. The guests were thrilled and we sure did have people talking about our feathers all through the night!

Kid's Got Talent 3 Day Summer Club

SUMMER IS COMING... 
LIGHTS, CAMERA, ACTION!!

With summer just around the corner, its time to plan what the kids get up to! Due to popular demand Manic Stage Productions have already set up their 3 day summer club and dance days for August 2014.

This summer we will be running three different workshops....

 Firstly we have our brand new 'Kid's Got Talent' 3 day summer club to be held at The Portsmouth Guildhall.

This exciting talent club will be running from Monday 11th - Wednesday 13th August.
10am-3pm each day
Costing £75 per child (20% Sibling Discount)
 The price includes
3 days summer club ran by our fully insured and CRB checked professional performers 4x tickets to "Show Time" which will be performed in the auditorium on the main stage!
Kids Got Talent Summer Club souvenir 

Kid's Got Talent will involve all sorts of fun, from bringing your own talent, whether that be singing, dancing, telling jokes, impressions or some other kind of impressive skill to working with our talented team to learn some new talents and perform these to the crowd on the final day. Every child will feature in "Show Time" and some lucky children may even receive the "Golden Buzzer" award and perform in the spotlight all on their own! As well as perfecting our performance pieces the children will take part will in arts and crafts, creating costume accessories, playing theatrical and fun filled games and much much more throughout the three days. 

The most exciting part about this summer club is that the final performance for family and friends on the third day will be performed on the actual Guildhall STAGE!!

This stage has been home to many of the UK's top acts and to be able to perform on there is a great honour and achievement for your children which I am sure they will love!
We advise parents to keep Wednesday afternoon FREE from 1.30pm-3pm as this will be our scheduled show time along with a special presentation and photobooth fun!

Secondly we will be hosting another 'Frozen' day at The Portsmouth Guildhall. After the amazing success of our past half term week we can't wait to "Let It Go" again!.

With singing, dancing, arts & crafts and of course our signature confidence catwalk your Frozen fans will be thoroughly entertained throughout this one off day. 

The date for this fantastic day is

Thursday 21st August 
 10am-3pm 
Costing £20 per child
 The price includes
1 day Frozen place ran by our fully insured and CRB checked professional performers "Show Time" which will be performed in the Harlequin room at 2.30pm

Finally, due to popular demand we will also be hosting another 'One Direction' day. Included in this day are dance routines to your 1D fans favourite chart toppers. Cheerleading chants, sing a longs, confidence catwalk and 1D crafts, games and performance!

The dates for this are 
Friday 15th August
Friday 22nd August
10am-3pm 
Costing £20 per child 
 The price includes
1 day 1D place ran by our fully insured and CRB checked professional performers "Show Time" which will be performed in the Harlequin room at 2.30pm

Remember all 3 events have a performance "Show Time" show on the final day. The times and venues for these differ between days so please read your confirmation email clearly once your place has been paid for and secured. 
The only performance on the actual stage will be for participants of the 3  summer club. Family and friends will become part of a real audience and take their seats in the auditorium as your stars step on stage into the spotlight. 

The Frozen and One Direction stars will also have a performance that is equally as important to each and every child at the end of the day but these will be performed in a less informal manner within the Harlequin room
